Brookie & Beans is a home bakery in Islamabad, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile app or website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By placing an order with us, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to take and fulfill your order:

• Contact and delivery details you provide: your name, phone number (WhatsApp), and, for delivery orders, your delivery address.
• Order details: the items in your order, whether it is delivery or pickup, your requested time, and any notes.
• Optional Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to save your details for faster checkout. You can order as a guest without signing in.
• Notification token: if you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you updates about your order.
• Rewards: we keep a record linked to your phone number to track your Cookie Card stamps and any free-cookie rewards.

We do not collect payment card or bank details in the app. Payment is arranged directly with you over WhatsApp using Easypaisa or bank transfer.

How we use your information

• Prepare, confirm, and fulfill your orders.
• Contact you about your order, usually on WhatsApp.
• Send order-status notifications, if you have enabled them.
• Run our Cookie Card loyalty and friend-referral rewards.
• Operate, maintain, and improve our service.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, and only as needed:

• Expo to deliver push notifications to your device.
• MongoDB Atlas for secure database hosting.
• SendGrid to send order confirmation emails.
• Google only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• WhatsApp (Meta) because we message you there to confirm your order.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep order and rewards records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

Your choices

• Order as a guest without creating an account.
• Turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.
• Ask us to access or delete your information by contacting us at the number below.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

Our app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
